I just realized that the EOS 500D ... it being a DSLR and all ... doesn't have a movie mode. DAMN.
Now, I may have to rethink my choice. I would rather my camera have the movie function ... cos as parents, we sometimes like to take short clips and not just stills all the time.
HOW??!!! I know I can buy a digital video camera ... but I don't want to lug 2 cameras around.

hur hur hur. I give up on the cameras that come with our phones ... for fun can lar.
My friend recommended the EOS 7D ... but that's like more than 2k. Will definitely have to think it over :p

thank you!! I dunno HOW come I came to the conclusion that the 500D doesn't have a movie mode .. I think cos the previous model .. the 450D doesn't have a movie mode. Or at least that's what someone who was letting go of hers told me.
anyway, yes ... forget about the the EOS 7D then .. that one is way too ex. I shall get the 500D asap !! can't wait !
