obstacles ...

Comex starts tomorrow!! I am such a gadget freak .. if I had my way, I'd be dead broke tomorrow buying all the wonderful stuff there at Comex ..

But of course, there is one big obstacle to my nefarious plan of spending money ...

Don't say a word. I got this from Mothercare today. Isn't it AWESOME? It's so pretty !! I lurve it ... Hubby is gonna kill me though ... sigh ...

I really don't know what's up with me this time around .. I seem to have suddenly been bitten by the "let's buy new baby gear for this baby" ... I was like that with Claudia as she was my first, then also Lauren cos there was such a big gap between her and Lauren that I got all excited about buying baby stuff again ... anyway, I had cleverly given away most of Claudia's stuff before we were posted to the States .. so of course, I had to buy NEW stuff when Lauren came along ... With Emily, it's not that I was NOT excited, but I was at the time, very frazzled cos I was maidless so I was handling the 2 girls and my dogs and the house and chores .. and Lauren's stuff at the time was pretty brand new .. her rocker, her swing etc .. (let's not include clothes as I have always had the bad bad habit of buying new anyway so that doesn't count) .. but this time around .. I want new stuff.

Much to my husband's horror, of course. He thinks since it's the last baby we'll have ... there is no reason to buy all new baby gear ... like swings etc ..

I beg to differ.

I don't want to talk about how much it cost, ok? I saw it at one of those baby shops at Great World City mall and fell in love with it. I have something similar .. a Fisher-Price rocker with the same vibrating options where baby's feet are ... but that's totally different !! This one is PINK and COFFEE coloured ... so sweet!!

I lurve this Baby LuLu dress of Emily's that I bought off Forget Me Not Kids .. I look sleepy cos I am .. it was 8 am on a Sunday morning and we were in church .. *yawn* Lauren's Sunday school asked us to bring her to church 1 hour earlier before service at 9am to prepare for some choral performance her Sunday School was presenting ...

My dog and my ewok ... lol

Everytime Isabel and Kimmy get sent for doggie grooming .. Isabel comes back nice and clean .. while Kimmy comes back looking like a cross between an ewok and a rat ...

lol. I always tell my groomer ... give her a puppy cut and while they do a good job, she inevitably DOES come back lookin like an extra in a Star Wars movie ..

Blardy Olympics ...

Come on, admit it ... the Olympics aren't that big a deal ..

My girls and I have been FORCED to watch it everytime we're all sitting in the hall outside with Daddy ...

I can cry. I keep complaining to my maid how terribly boring it is .. and who cares if you can run or swim THAT fast? ... Hubby is glued to the screen .. I have been shushed a few times too when I tried to talk to him ...

BLARDY. Thank goodness the Olympics will be over by the time December comes around .. or else HOW IN HELL AM I GOING TO TELL HIM I AM IN LABOUR IF THE MAN KEEPS SHUSHING ME??!!

To make it worse, Channel 5 has temporarily stopped showing some series in the 10 pm slot and later ... like Ghost Whisperer, Criminal Minds, Cold Case and Nip/Tuck ...

DAMMIT TO HELL.

Yes, those are my MY shows ok?! I follow them every week .. now I am forced to sleep early cos there is nothing else to watch .. strangely enough, there happens to be nothing showing on the cable channels around that time too ... most of the shows I have been following have ended their current season .. so I am left with NOTHING much to watch.

I will be glad when the Olympics end ... I can't wait !!
